My favorite Autumn recipe (only for you carnivores, of course):

Stir together: 3 cloves garlic smashed, 1 TBS paprika, 2 TBS chili powder, 1 tsp cayenne, 1 TBS cinnamon, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp black pepper, 1 TBS hot chocolate powder and 32 ounces diced tomatoes.

Place in a crock pot: 1 lb bison meat, 1 diced onion, 1 diced bell pepper and 2 cups butternut squash peeled and diced into 2 inch chunks.

Cover meat mixture with tomato mixture and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
