Yoga benefit for HIV/AIDS
Unite with local yoga teachers, yoga studios and cyclists to help raise money for a great cause. AIDS LifeCycle is the worlds largest HIV/AIDS charity, having raised over 100 million dollars for HIV/AIDS. It’s a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride. Over 50 cyclists from the Denver area are riding this year!!
By enjoying a yoga class the money you donate sponsors Team Colorado and makes a world of difference in the life of someone with HIV. Here’s are a few examples of how your donation gets used:
$10 = 25 condoms to give to people to promote safe sex
$25 = 2 rapid HIV tests, so people know their risk level better.
$200 = A year of medical supplies for 11 patients.
$300 = 13 months of lab tests for somebody with HIV.
$500 = medical benefits counselling to 15 clients
$2500 = housing for 4 HIV positive people for a month
